I proudly represent the 502. So proudly in fact, that your post inspired me to register after nearly a year of lurking here. I'm currently living in Lexington and attending the University of Kentucky, but I still go back and see my folks and friends in Louisville (where I've lived since I was 7) at least once a month. Compared to Lexington, Louisville is a much better place to ride in my opinion. More places to ride to and hang out (Cherokee Park, Falls of the Ohio, Old Louisville...) wider streets, the waterfront, etc. However, I see more fixed gears in a day here in Lexington than I see in Louisville in a week. Go figure.

I'm in Louisville as well. No more group rides for me since my last promotion at work. We need to get something set up for Saturday or Sunday for group rides.

Thanks! Yeah, they pretty much own at life. I love them even though they are a bit hyper. Hoping to get a fence put up soon, so they can run all the time.

I'm in lex but come up to Duffield (which I consider Louisville) with the big squish bike when I am too lazy to pedal at CVP.

Been cycling here since '68. Such a nice town... pity it's in Kentucky. heh...

I live in Frankfort. I love CVP. Make trips to L'ville to ride MTB's Sometimes. Started roadin' this year and just built my first ss about a week ago and don't want to ride anything else for right now. I'm planning on the race on Tuesday in Lex as well. About 7 of us are goint to try and make it. Ditto on the "locals".

Hey silver, what will you be riding tuesday? I'll be either on my orange Masi or red Colnago.

I'll either be on a beat up brown '78 Raleigh ss or a pristine '78 Bianchi, white in color. We plan to leave Frankfort at about 6:00 or 6:30. Look me up and I will do the same. Looks like it's going to be dry for the race. C- ya!

Any of you coming to the race tonight or the party after, I'll be working one of the checkpoints on a yellow folder with leopard spots. Say hi. I might have booze.

I'm planning on coming out, I gotta work at 8 tommorow morning so I'll probably just ride home after the race. I'll be on a black Giant Bowery that's got too many stickers on it.

Keep Lexington Lame Yall

This city does that all by itself. However, Keeping Louisville Pretentious might require a little more work...
