hey guys.
just got a sweet deal on the above frame, but to my dismay i discovered it to have 120mm frame spacing. after a bit of research i saw that guys were building up 02 and 03 kg381 with campy10 (thus these frames have 130mm spacing) so whats the deal with mine? can i get it reset? has this frame actually been poorly repaired?

cheers all.

Did you buy a track frame? By 2004, the only frames spaced 120 mm were trackies.

its supposed to be 130. i think it was bent and improperly repaired. whats the procedure for re spacing a carbon frame? should i just return it?

Carbon frames typically don't bend, they break. If it was originally spaced 130 mm and is now 120 after a "repair", I wouldn't trust it at all. Return it if you possibly can.

I don't know but, if it were mine it would be on it's way back to the seller. A 130 mm dropout spaced frame should accept a 130 mm hub with nearly no struggle. Carbon is particularly unforgiving of inept "repairs".
