Have fun. I was at Louise about a month ago. I'd never been on a weekday before - it was like having the whole mountain to yourself!

Sweet, looking forward to some pictures of cavorting, carousing and carnage (yeah, I iz a poe-et).

Started packing on wednesday after indian buffet/beer at work... those are pepperoni sticks wrapped up, not hash :)

Anyway, arrived in calgary airport on wednesday night, and drove out to banff and got the festivities started... Went to some mexican place and got chimmichangas (sp?) oh god they were good, but the gas was somethin else!!!

Looked like the snow was pretty good.
the snow was pretty good at sunshine village, but at lake louise it was garbage... they didnt seem to get too much snow this year, i gouged the hell out of my new skis at lake louise.. rocks everywhere. It was super busy, icy, and the moguls were not my style (difficult!)

Nice pics. Although I'm surprised you brought so few beer.

Have you ever tried skiing in Montana? I haven't been there in about 15 years, however Big Mountain had some pretty decent skiing. Not too far of a drive for you.

so few? haha... if only there were pics of them all.. met my buddy at calgary airport, first question out of our mouth, "how many beer do you have?" answer: 4 cases (96)

response: we need more beer than that!! so straight to the liquor barn we go to pick up another 3 cases, a heineken mini-keg, and some paddock wood bottles...

Everything was consumed except for the mini keg, and about 6 of the paddockwoods...

And dont forget the numerous pitchers at lunch/post ski, then the pints at St. James Gate at night... I havent consumed that much beer in a while :D


Anyway! nope, never been down to montana, but ive heard its pretty good. If its anything like Fernie (which i assume it is) its probably pretty good.

Dude, I wondered what the screaming was. Now we know, it was your liver :D
