Only part I don't understand is
"as I do not think they are good for me.." If you ever come back chip feel free to translate.

I feel ya. It seems like the same ole same ole, day in and day out on the BF. No offense to Joe or anyone else here. I have frequented this and other forums far less as of lately. Nothing wrong with moderation, ey.

the psychological toll these forums can take....

forums is like computerized high school. there are clics and when you post and no one responds you feel rejected.

saying goodbye is like a plea for attention.

this is a theory speculated by a friend of mine anyway.

OK guys, let's practice a little netiquette here:

The polite response to a good-bye post should be something like: "No, don't leave. We want you to stay. We all value your opinions and will miss your interesting posts."

Of course the writer of a good-bye post who really means good-bye will not be logging-in to read such polite responses. Therefore, one need be in no hurry to respond to a good-bye post, but netiquette does require a polite response within a reasonable time--perhaps the same span of time during which one would be expected to send something like a thank you note. Hence:

No, don't leave. We want you to stay. We all value your opinions and will miss your interesting posts.

Umm........how about no. I am sick of these mentally ill people who are littering the forums. Either mentally ill or cant speak english well, and if so then they should atleast make an effort in telling us.

Alright, this has gone far enough. Whether Chip stays or goes is up to him. Either way, the forums themselves don't need a thread of childish insults, and consequently I'm closing this one. Questions or comments can be directed to myself via PM.
