My new morning drink.
Kind of like green tea with a little kick from matteine (sort of like caffeine).
I like.
Hope you are wearing sandals, listening to new age music and enjoying the pungent aroma of patchouli oil along with that tea. Keep On Truckin', MV!

That's good stuff! It has a lot more nutritional value than coffee or tea, and it still perks you up just the same! Maybe even more so...
Hmmmm! Did not trust MV, but if Heather says it is good, I must needs try it.
Any reccomendation on where/what to buy, how to brew, etc?

I know you can buy tea bags with directions at any health food store. That is the only kind that I have tried. It tastes good with honey and I'm sure, milk or cream.
Cool, I may go look at lunch and pick up an electric kettle for the office. Have one at home for tea. Really want to cut back on my coffee intake.
I guess I need to say thanks to MV for starting this thread, but will hold off until I see if the yerba matte kills me. If it does, I will haunt him. Me and the ghost of my bass will make his life even more miserable than it is, seeing as how he is a bean counter, we have our work cut out for us.

you can not haunt a zombie.

Give some strong black tea a try. Suggestions:Twinnings 'Prince of Wales' and 'English Breakfast Tea', or Tazo 'awake'.

Why would you trust a perfectly good bong to WTP?
Heaven knows where that's going to end up or under or on top of or ......

I drink English Breakfast, Irish Breakfast, or Earl Grey as my regular teas. Milk and sugar.

Good Luck. The wife is out of town and I just got the boys to bed. I am going to have a beer and then hit the sheets. Might try the new neti pot first though.

are you putting beer in the neti pot?
That's alcohol abuse I believe.
A beer is a terrible thing to waste.
btw MV, why do you like your Yerba with a dull/rough/non-glossy finish?
In one nostril, out the other and into your glass?

That's almost as interesting as sirpoopalot's tale of personal hygiene earlier today.
I LOVE yerba mate. I drink it more than coffee. It has more antioxidants than green and black teas and about half the caffeine of a cup of coffee. It has a nice little kick.

I set my sights low to avoid dissapoint, yet still it happens.
