I think I'm going to do a little camping next weekend in the Austin area and try out this ride. Anyone ridden it before? What's the terrain like? Anyone else want to ride?

I'm not sure of my distance yet, but I am training for the MS 150 (albeit a little late) and I need to do a couple of organized rides over the next 4 weeks. I'll probably do the 62, and a buddy of mine will probably do the 36.

contact Lari from the soldierride blog. She seems to know that area pretty well.

Hmmmm...looks like a nice ride. I've been out to the state park several times but have never ridden in the area and haven't driven the roads shown on the route. My memory from a couple years ago is that that area of the hill country is more rolling than steep...but I could be wrong. I notice in the comments nobody talks about the hills.

I need to check my calendar but I might be talked into doing it. I'll post again if I can get my act together.

I think I remember Lari saying that she was going on that ride. Definitely get in touch with her.
