Hey Vic,
Thanks for your advice a few days ago concerning folding bikes... You actually might have convinced me to get a tikit, and if it is the case, I'll send you some pictures.
Basically I was thinking of getting a cheap and sensible Dahon Speed D7, just to dip my toes in the folding world. But I just sold my car and the extra cash on hand has me leaning to get the Tikit. I've actually wanted a Brompton for a while, but I thought that the Tikit is just about as good (folding isn't as neat and compact). Here, the Tikit would have the advantage of originality... I've seen a bunch of Brommies in Paris and in train stations... the smart people here are going multi-modal with gas a $7.50 a gallon.
So when I go to NYC for vacation in April, I'll give you a heads up as to which bike I got... I am thinking of going by NYCe Cycles or bFold since they are in Manhattan. I'll try to call them and reserve a large one...

You are welcome to link to the stuff on my blog about the Tikit. I'm taking it to San Diego in a bit over a week, my first flight with it since August.
How many views are you getting on your tikit blog entries?

Thanks Alex...I linked to your blog a while back, but I should post an update as you have got some new material since then. I appreciate your posts as they helped me decide to buy a Tikit....:p
I'm getting about 1000 visitors per month - not huge numbers, but based on the emails from people who are buying Tikits and used the site as a reference (http://viktikit.blogspot.com/) it seems to be effective at consolidating relevant Tikit info in one spot. I'll keep improving and expanding it. If anyone has suggestions for making the site more useful feel free to let me know.
