I'm only really interested in the team sprint, match sprint, km and keirin. The other stuff is interesting but doesn't hold the same attraction as the power events.

team sprint

men's - well the gb final start was a bit ragged, surely the missing 0.51s? Well done France though, looking at the qualifying times for the match sprint the french sprinters are on some serious form now.
ladies - another ragged start, possibly due to the gate not beeping a fifth time, but Pendleton kicked ass again.

Match sprint

men's - Grats. to Hoy for coming back from 0-1 and kicking ass, it was a very close thing though second match. I didn't realise that was the quarter finals already - damn highlights.

ladies - haven't seen anything on TV yet but I'm only watching the highlights

500m

Ladies - GB what's with the small gearing. Getting a good start is nice but what's the point if you're spinning out well before the final lap. They'd still kick my ass from a standing start though :D

edit: another mistake, after hoy isn't mclean, the quarter finals aren't the heats - double DOH!

Bos lost for the first time in THREE YEARS. I really thought he was invincible, but I guess you can catch him off guard if you're Chris Hoy. It should be really interesting watching them battle in Beijing.

Yup - the second heat was amazing when it went to the photo finish. Was it just me or did, in the third heat, Bos seem to fade a bit?

HOY! What a sprint. After watching the quarters the french guy, sireau, looked FAST.....but not fast enough. the 3/4 final was interesting but chiappa needed something more than just trying to match speed.

Pendleton looking on form for the win (damn, now I've jinxed it)

HOY! and pendleton for the keirin and match sprint respectively. Fianlly managed to watch it on the bbc iplayer service (woohoo! first time I've achieved a 780kbps download speed).

Congratulations Reed and Mulder in the kkeirin and km respectively. It would've been nice to have two more brits at the top but onward to beijing.......unless there's a boycott because they're ethnically cleansing tibet
