Im looking to add a brake to my Kilo TT. are there any levers that i can install without redoing my bar tape?

depends how close to the stem you wrapped them...if there's any space at all (like an inch) you can place a BMX-style lever clamped there

you can find brake levers that have a hinge on them so you can just open it up and clamp it around the bars without disturbing the tape....

good luck !

cool, any idea how much they run? and also my two-sided pedals are still in the mail so whats the best way for dealing with the straps that the bike comes with stock? im having trouble getting my second foot in without looking like a loser. =)

Soma has an option called Urban Cross that they sell singles of. There is also the Paul E-Lever (pricey). I have Tektro RX 2.1s on both onf my bikes. Nothing fancy, but they work great. The 2.1s are for 31.8 bar diameter and the 2.0s are for 26.0. The Tektros come in pairs, but your LBS may be willing to split a pair.

I just bought a pair of hinged Specialized made in Taiwan levers for $27.
