Northern California - Kind of cold on Mt. Dialbo

Boy, I went up Mt. Diablo on Weds. evening and the day turned kind of nasty! We started up the Northgate around 4:45 - a quick call to the info line confirmed it - 42 degrees and 18 mph winds at the summit! We ended up going a bit past the junction - we did 2,400 feet of climbing, but in the end decided it was just too nasty.

Had the same deal here in SF, went out for quick spin had to turn around for the winter gear!

I hate to say this but I think he maybe back.....:eek:

I think I saw you coming down at the Junction. You had gotten ahead of the woman rider and waited for her and then a car passed you going down... right?

It was cold but not that bad - we've been spoiled with great weather for early spring.

Well, there goes the sympathy vote! It was my friends who wanted to turn around, honest!:D

We only stopped for a couple of minutes at the junction going up, and met up with a couple of friends who had come up from the south side. Going down, I didn't stop at the junction. It sounds like you saw my friend Mark, who was riding with his wife. She's got the TnT jersey on in the photo; he was wearing a blue jersey (and is partly hidden by the rider in black).

I might be wrong, but there was something very similiar about him...I just can't put a finger on it?
