Had an appointment in Valley Springs yesterday. Brought the bike so I could do a little hill climbing on some country roads.

Very few cars, wind was minimal. Roads were great.

Because of the late start, I got in a little over 40 miles.

Have a great weekend. Be careful on the roads.

That place changed. When I lived there no one was riding bikes there.
Last time I rode there I went from VS to Jackson and back. My friend thought I was insane.

Hey BR...
Do you have a routeslip for that? Its not that far from me and the hills seem a little less steep which is what I need right now

This is basically an out and back starting from Wallace:
I started at the parking lot on Camanche Parkway South and Hwy 12
Go East on Camanche Parkway
Camanche Parkway will turn into Chile Camp Road
Continue on Chile Camp Road
Chile Camp Road will turn into Campo Seco Road
Continue on Campo Seco Road
Campo Seco Road will turn into Paloma Rd.
Continue on Paloma Rd.
Turn Left on Hwy 26 for a short bit
Left on Mokelumne Hill - Campo Seco Turnpike
Turn around at Mokelumne Hill (mile 20)
Anytime you want to get back there, lemme know. If I can swing it, I'll join you.

Cool! Thank you! A group here locally is putting together a ride list for this year and I wanted to include this as an option! I would definately be interested in riding it beforehand so when I get a free day, I'll PM you and see if you can go as well! :D

This is too easy for an "A" ride. What you need is something like this: (http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Jesus-Maria-Loop)
