We could even get the t-shirt (https://www.lovefred.com/shopping2.php)that goes with it:D
I like the one with "fortified with irony" on it.

I nominate a different candidate that better exemplifies the astuteness and maturity of the 50+ forum members:
tap water
I need to see where it says that natural spring is located. I'm real suspicious.

Hasn't everyone heard that bottled water should be avoided...
According to Al Gore and his comrades this is one of the major things leading to the degradation of the environment. You are supposed to do something like filter tap water... of course, you should probably filter only with locally produced biodegradable filters.

Watch out!
You could be about to start a war to make the Brooks vs. others, flat bar vs. drop bar, carbon vs. aluminum vs. steel, low spoke count vs. traditional wheel and upright vs. recumbent battles seem like love-ins. :D

Well I vote for an official 50+ beer as well...
Also for those of you that live in areas that sell Evian water have you ever stopped and noticed what the letters for Evian spells backwards? Makes you wonder about their marketing department, eh wot? :D

I fully agree that some form of filtration and purification be used, and better it be at the bottling stage.

I find this is beneficial.

Beer? I'm really just a wino with a biking problem.
That reminds me -- at the Marin Century last August we saw a number of cyclists with a gorgeous deep red jersey with a stylized martini glass on it. The writing said: " Team Martini: The drinking group with a cycling problem."
We're thinking of a jersey with a balloon wine glass, black with a lovely deep blackberry color, that reads:
"Team Cabernet -- we wine a lot."

Indeed my good sir... indeed. This will also ensure the old faithfull water bottle will still have its use, you can keep the tonic water in them.
Not to sure where we could keep the sliced lemon... and the ice will be problematic, but we are men of sound theory, we can solve these minor niggles... hell I suppose we could do without the ice and slice?

Being men of character, we shall force ourselves to imbibe without the usual amenities...and be the better for it.

Has anyone contemplated the weight savings possibilities of dehydrated water. Why...........you could carry in in a jersey pocket and not even need bottle cages on your bike. Just think of the possibilities.

The french have the ideal drink for us---"Eaue de Vie" or water of life. A good one is about 90% proof

That is exactly what I do. I use the Gatorade sport bottles and wash em. Single use drink containers are evil.

I'm glad that no one has suggested Evian. Evian spelled backwards in naivE.
My personal favorite is Kroger's own Big K Sparkling Water. Cheap and very carbonated.
Of course if you drive to Hot Springs, you can get genuine Arkansas mineral spring water for free. They have it just flowing out of the fountains. BYOB.

We should do both, and add a vodka and a scotch. Whichever goes best with pie.

Did you pick your username based on the Iceni Warrior Queen, Boudicca. If you did, I'm afraid of you already.
"She was huge of frame, terrifying of aspect, and with a harsh voice. A great mass of bright red hair fell to her knees: she wore a twisted torc, and a tunic of many colours, over which was a thick mantle, fastened by a brooch. Now she grasped a spear, to strike fear into all who watched her." Dio Cassius
How about this water???

Now the name I used to know her as was Bodicea. Warrior Queen of the Ancient Britons. A hero in fact of British Folk-lore. Apparantly that was all wrong and Boudicca has appeared with a different reputation. So how Bodicea- The Good Queen of my youth- can turn into such an Ogre as Boudicca- for no apparant reason- is beyond me- Same woman but with more than one side to her
Bit like the wife when I told her I was thinking of getting a new Mountain bike.
