Hi,
I am getting a Crystalyte kit. I understand that the controller has an Anderson connector.
Does anyone know if this is a male, or female connector?
I am also ordering an NiMH pack with a Tamiya connector. Does anyone know what adaptor is suitable and where I can find one? I have had difficulty online with google.
Thanks!!!

Anderson'a are a typical automotive type plastic connector where positive and negative fit side by side. It is quite brilliant and works well. Each is different so it's not quite male and female in the traditional sense.
I guess you are going to have to wait for the Tamiya connector. I'm sure it won't be a problem.
I remember with my first kit I was SO nervous. It worked out well, I'm sure it will be okay for you too.
That's kind, thanks.
So my Crystalyte controller has an Anderson connector, but the battery pack has a Tamiya connector. These won't fit together. Is there an adapter available?
You can purchase anderson connector right here:
