It's Friday and I am home in bed with my cat unwinding after a really tiring week. I turn on the TV and for some reason it's on VH1. There's a top 90's greatest songs countdown on. I know every single song, and most recall secondary school memories. I am now a secondary teacher.
Am I VH1 already? This is awfully disturbing.
Cheer me up. N O W ! ! !

Looking at your pics, you're a good 5-10 years younger than me. You haven't, like me, turned bitter and been rode hard and put away wet.
So, go have a martini and have fun, youngster. Your hangover would be nothing like mine would if I did that at 9:20pm! :D

I was in D2: The Mighty Ducks Return.
But you meant this thread in a different context.

Nope. I was in the crowd, hanging over the railing as Team USA came out. I think I was 13. I had a bowl haircut.

Well...it didn't have a wide following amongst two-year-olds.

It'll probably show up on KDOC one of these days or something.

A friend of mine who teaches Intro. Psych., recently had a student come up to her and said, "the reason I took your class is because my mom took your class 20 years ago"
she needed a drink after class to say the least..

They're kinda like Doritos..."Well, maybe just one more..."
There's nothing wrong with being Vh1. You get to a point where 18-24 demographic stuff is distasteful.
I realized I'm getting 'old & conservative' b/c it bothers me when I hear Sublime songs on the radio.

As long as you were watching a contemporary Duran Duran doing a cover of Warm Leatherettes, you're good.
Tomorrow promises perfect riding weather, so just enjoy.

Sublime bothers me because I've heard all those songs so many times, and KROQ still plays them a lot.
Indie 103.1 for no Sublime.

VH1 almost never plays MY music, since my favorite music dates from when the closest thing to a Video was an appearance on American Bandstand, Soul Train, or the Lawrence Welk SHow.

OMG...you missed so much. The eye makeup and shoulder pads on Donna (what's her name?) started a fashion revolution.

It could be worse... last time there was a top 80's greatest songs countdown on I knew every single song, and had very similar recollections.
*shrug*
But I dig Sublime.
Heh.
