Just a bit of an intro.
I bought my first mountain bike in 1990 while in college. Got the second mtb in 1991 (Gary Fisher AL-1) and I still ride it. Just replaced the shifters and brakes last year...I still have the original front tire and tube. I may have the oldest functioning bike tire in the entire state of Texas.
A friend coerced me into buying a road bike a couple of months ago...a 2000 Cannondale R600 off of Craigslist. It has needed a few things, but I've really enjoyed riding it.
Please bear with me if I ask a lot of dumb questions, I'm completely out of touch with the new technology. I'm not even sure I can get replacement parts for both my bikes.
I'm glad to be here and hope to get to know a few folks while I'm here.
