Every second reply comes with a large ad. Fine.

What isn't fine, in my book, is that every time i am the second respondent of a thread, my browser freezes on an otherwise white page with said ad in the upper left corner.

Every time

Vista--up to date
Firefox--up to date
Comcast--will hopefully crash and burn some day.

While a red star would solve the problem, the problem itself isn't ok to begin with. I'll pass this up...

There are a few reasons i don't have a red star. Most of them aren't appropriately discussed here but the one that is relevant may surprise you. I actually like the ads.

Actually, Brian has mentioned that a modification is being worked out so that those of us who have red stars can switch to seeing the ads without having to log out.

You are not the only one who would appreciate the ability to see the ads, even though you may have a red star :D .
