Look at the cars. Then look at the riders. Then look at the cars.

Those are all the follow cars, the riders are turning and I am guessing they are going to pull through after the last rider. . .

Cars are lined up the 'wrong' way...? Grasping.

I think the riders are making a right turn, and so the cars will make a left when the riders pass.

hmm... i didn't realize there was a turn. There definitely doesn't look to be a right-hand turn there, what iwth the crowd and all, but I think you're right, Mike.

Its difficult to be sure, but there is a right hand turn that theyre heading into. The team cars appear to be positioned to follow the cyclists.

Agreed; it took me a while to spot that also. (I looked it over before reading the posts.)

I thought the "Good luck" sign seemed odd also.

If the sprint has lots of "argy bargy" as Paul Sherwin would say, those cinder blocks against the barriers on the left side of the road could be a nasty reminder of where the "edge" of the road really is.

Almost looks as if the Bouygues rider's handlebars aren't attached to his bike, but I'm sure that's not it.

Is this a start that immediately turns right? That's a bit odd.
