I did my first fifty mile ride today. It was an organized ride in Salado, Tx. Lots of fun and really not quite as difficult as I had built it in my mind. Three hours and thirty-six minutes of actual saddle time with a total ride time of three hours and forty-eight minutes. Just had to tell someone, now i think I will be able to get that century in this year.

Congratulations! Seems like it has always looked hilly in that area when I drove through on the freeway.

Thanks, it was a little more vertical than I am used too. The downhill made it much more fun and worth the climbs. Congrats on your metric century, saw your post farther down the page.
