Today I decided I would take a ride up to Columbus-Belmont state park in Kentucky. Most of the ride is on the Missippi River bike route, and goes through some great roads.

Here are a few more pictures of one of the "locals" and some pictures of the park, I even tried the timmer mode on the camera.
This area was a Civil War fort overlooking the Missippi river from a high bluff on a narrow bend in the river. The South used the fort to control shipping on the river during the war. If you erer get a chance to ride the MRT try and stop by, it's small but nice. :)

Wow - it looks like you had a great ride!!!! The cannon scared me, though.

Nice pictures! I like how you included your bike in some of them.
Is that a San Remo? Looks like it but I can't tell.

Glad to share. Now it's in the 50s and drizzling rain! I knew this would be the last chance for a nice weather ride this year.
The bike is a 2003 Trek 2000, it's a much nicer bike than I have ever owned. I have about 2800 miles on it this year and love it! :)
