Anyone know if the Toronto bike trails are clear of snow already? I would imagine the Humber and Don Valley are probably still icy in patches, but what about the Martin Goodman? Trying to plot a ride for today, and not sure where to try.

With the expected rain the next few days and temps into the teens I think by next weekend you won't have to worry about it!
Yesterday heading south on the Don Valley Trail I was stopped by deep, uncleared snow and ice at the big traffic circle just south of the Overlea Boulevard bridge. It will take a while for that to melt, even with rain. The trail runs through a shady hollow further to the south that always takes a long time to clear.
Nice to be out, though...

Certainly the downtown streets are all clear, except for some ice banks right at the curb, so I hope the Goodman trail is too, but I haven't checked it. And the potholes are the worst I've seen due to the unusually long winter.
There's a pothole just by Queen's Park that would fit a front wheel in with ease. You would think the Ontario government would try to do something about that one.
^^It's the city's to fix - perhaps they'll leave it to the last :)
Earlier this week I checked the Beltline trail. Still snowy. Oh boo. The weekend looks good 11 degrees Sat and Sun, with some rain on Friday washing away more snow goop. I'm taking out my bike this weekend regardless!

Exactly! Unless it's the 400 series hwys as well as some regional hwys/roads in the country side, then that falls under the province. But anyways, I'd say it's too early to complain, Spring is just peaking through and we'll likely have snow before the end of April as is always the case.
On Sunday April 5 there were still a few stretches of snow and ice on the Don Valley Trail a kilometre or two north of Pottery Road - just about walkable in my cleats. Otherwise clear north to Sunnybrook.
Had to bypass the Belt Line west of Yonge - a sheet of ice.

Sigh! Soon very soon!
Martin Goodman is finally CLEAR !!! Only remnants of twigs and winter debris are left.
Was getting concern that we'd never see the path again.
And don't forget about those horrible, nasty bollards at our favorite Bocci ball club- Dickweeds that they are.
See you on the path !
