Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

So it's short. Perhaps it's the most problematic block? Or perhaps there's simply no room to retrofit in a bike lane the rest of the way, so they did what they could. I've seen far worse. Like the stretch of Bear Valley Pkwy in Escondido where there is a "bike lane" that is signed as such, but really is just a ridiculously narrow ribbon of pavement on the shoulder right next to a ditch. (The sections before and after that are fine.) People riding the Pie Ride wondering why there's the easy to miss turn onto Citrus when we eventually end up on Bear Valley anyway, now you know.
