Road Bike Racing - I didn't win

C's: Chased down breaks, (attempted to) lead out teammate, didn't contest sprint. 3rd.
B's: Chased down breaks, (attempted to (and failed miserably)) to lead out teammate, didn't contest sprint. 11th. Accidentally won a preme.
A's: Sat in. Until I didn't. Teammates said that someone in front of me opened a gap, all I (vaguely) remember is attempting to chase back on, and failing. OTB.

Im assuming AA. Which direction, up the hill or down?

Yup, AA.

...and in a crit, what goes up must come down, right? We went up the steeper section, in other words, clockwise.

(Although it's tough to call that 30-40 footer a 'hill'...)

Thanks BDG. I was just out there for training, so I didn't mind the first two races.

Not to mention that it was 38 and windy on top of windy.

Now you know why the airport is right there. You don't even need to use the runway; just turn into the wind and let Bernoulli take over.

I didn't win either. 2nd in a local training race on Sat, and 9th in another one the next day. The 9th was rather dissappointing because I know I could have found a better line to avoid getting boxed in. Oh well .... won a preme at least.

I was wondering about that as I typed it. Since I think it's short for "premium", I used the 'e' instead of 'i'. But I'm fine with prime. I've seen it both ways.

I didn't win either. In fact, I haven't felt as craptastic on a bike as I did this weekend in a long time.
