Bought some Innova tires this past winter. Was very happy with the way they performed. However, looking at them today I see some of the studs have rusted. Is this normal, and what does everyone use to clean them for next winter.

Thanks

It's normal for cheap studded tires. Innova are known as a one season tire. Nokian on the other hand don't rust much at all, and last a very long time. I'm going to be on my fifth winter with mine next year.

Never clean or perform maintenance on my Nokians.

I see some rust on my nokians. I wouldn't worry about the rust, it will be grinded down to the bare metal once you get the tyres on pavement.
The studs are like train tracks. They clean themselves if they're used, and even rusty ones will get clean once they are used again.

Just keep them out of direct sun light and preferably in a cool place to prevent dry rot.

lol, it's normal for them to rust a little. I don't clean them, the rust will go away after riding a little.

There's no reason to clean studded tires. The rust is normal, forget about it. The rust does go away when ridden.

Check for wear on the Innova studs - mine only lasted about 1000 km on the front (I did have a mix of ice and dry pavement).
