New to Denver also (well, Centennial actually) Wife was transfered and we moved here about 1-1/2 years ago.
Originally from Ohio and in my teens rode tours and a few centuries on an heavy Schwinn 5 spd. In 1980 bought a Puch Marco Polo and rode quite a bit, trying to get in about 100 miles/week. I kept that up for about 7 or 8 years before gradually giving it up. Before moving here, got rid of the Puch. Now I wish I had kept it.
Recently bought a place here and with a trail about 300 Yds from the driveway thought about getting beck into biking. The drivers here (as most anywhere else) are a bit nuts so I didn't really want to do much riding on the street but with the trail so close, hmmmm.... So I went out and bought a Trek 7300 a couple of weeks ago and found out the trails are pretty nice.
For now I'm just looking to getting into shape and enjoying the trails. I'll be hanging out in the "Fifty Plus" forum for the most part. I'm just a kid over there.
