Is there a significant difference in the geometries of the Pompino between 2006 and 2007? I'm looking at pictures of them and they look slightly different, but I can't find the measures on the 2006.

not what you asked, but hub spacing is different i think. it's now 120mm (?)

I thought it had always been 120, but they introduced a 135mm version for people with road/mountain hubs.

Ah okay. Have you ever actually ridden one of these? I've thought about getting one for quite a while, and everytime pricepoint has them cheap, I'm tempted to go for it.

One thing about them is they have a very short chainstay at 405mm.

Nope. You've got that backwards. They were traditionally 135mm rear spacing. The 2007 and 2008 models are 120 rear spacing.

I have the 2007 model. The 120 rear actually works out pretty well because it seems at this time you have more choices in 120 rear hubs, and certainly so in pre-built fix/fix or fix/free wheels. Surely due to the fixie/ss road bike craze which are generally 120 as well.
