I love:
The bronzed paintjob, black wheelset and über-cool BMX style brake-cable routing for spinny bars.
Don't usually like fatter tyres on a Twenty but these really work:

Thanks for the props, LP. Note the newest incarnation has higher pressure "fatter tyres" which roll way more smoothly than ones in pic above! (Also the darker bronze paint which I'm realizing didn't photograph that well--two subframe-stays and a few other bits are original Rustoleum "metallics bronze", most of the frame is now their darker "oil rubbed bronze", and headset parts are green.)

Did you do the paint job yourself, or was this a new powdercoat?

What fork/headset combination are you using, and where did you get it from?

thanks Yohann. Not a powdercoat--I only did some light sanding and hit with spray paint. Most of the prep work was with xactoing masks to cover original frame paint & decals that I wanted to keep. There are a few pics of this at the flickr page (linked at top of thread).

After fitting some high performance BMX slicks to my utility Twenty I am reconsidering building up some 451's for my Twenty roadie as the 406 slicks still roll very fast and are very comfortable.

I'd also like to know where you got the fork.

65er and Juan, It was luck, I guess. On eBay I looked under recumbent parts and saw someone with a new 20" aftermarket fork for a bike called the EZ-1, which apparently usually takes a 16" wheel. It was more than I wanted to pay, ~$80 with s&h, but much less of a hassle than other options. There's a picture of it in the flickr photoset (http://www.flickr.com/photos/8085848@N04/sets/72157603827334455) (from top of thread).

Looks like these on ebay.co.uk are pretty similar - they have four on 'Buy it now' though the steerer isn't long enough:

Their ad says 200mm, or about 7-7/8". It might actually work--mine's 8-1/4" and leaves plenty of threading for top nut after 1/2" of spacers above top race.
