Anybody have any suggestions toward a quality caring local bike shop in Boise Idaho? My friends just moved there from Chicago and I'm attempting to find them some genuine folks at a local shop to help guide them in finding them the right bikes, gear, areas to ride and overall pursuits of cycling. Thanks.....

George's Cycles (http://georgescycles.com/index.cfm) is a big place in the city, and probably has the most stuff, but personally I've had a ****ty experience with them. However, other people I've talked to seem to recommend them so, ymmv. I go to A1 bicycles (http://a1bicycle.com/) now though. They're a lot smaller and don't have nearly as large a selection, but I like it more. Beyond that, I haven't really checked out any other shops worth mentioning, maybe someone else could help more.

I've had mixed experiences with George's. I still go there for the selection, when I'm in a hurry, otherwise I shop on the web. I'm also still looking for the perfect shop, that understands the profitability of good customer experiences.
