I had a great ride, even with all that wind. The road to the first rest stop, was horrible. Bumpy, up hill and windy. The middle of the ride was pretty nice, and the last stretch got crazy windy, and a little wet. But, I managed to knock out a personal best 60 mile ride, with the help of some other strong guys who hammerd away.......

I rode the 80 mile route and then with the rain decided to take the Green/Blue route where they split for the last time and came up with 70 miles. That wind was crazy, I'd be doing 20-22 with the wind blowing me side to side and then turn into the wind and get slammed back down to 10-12.

That was a pretty tough ride. Good training though.

I managed to personal best the 80 mile route. I just need to find the guy I rode with to thank him for making that possible in the last 30 miles. That last turn into Prairie view was brutal.

Maybe it was me :D :D I was on a black trek with yellow bar tape and cages. I was in a bad *** paceline, doing my part, in all the wind. I also managed a personal best.

This guy was on a Felt wearing a CSC jesrey. They were in an echelon of three when I joined in and then the two of us split off at a rest area and kept on grinding it out.
