Hi there
This is my first time on the bike forums so hopefully I am writing message in the right place. I will be staying in Guipavas, which I believe is near the Brest Airport on the 4th July,2008. I want to go into Brest the next day and watch the start of the Tour de France. I have heard that the roads into the towns are often closed hours before the start of the race. Just wondering if anyone might be able to give me some tips on the best way to get from Guipavas to Brest?? I have a car but not sure if driving in would be a good idea. I think I read somewhere that the race starts about 10.00am. As this is my first time going to France any information about Le Tour would be most helpful. Thank you.
