Hello all,

My bike has 10 sp Chorus, and I was considering buying another bike that has 9 sp Athena. Will I be able to switch wheelsets back and forth?

I guess my question is:
Is 9 sp and 10 sp Campy interchangeable? My rear deraliur is a mid-cage as my 10 sp set ups are currently 13-29 & 13-26. Can I simply put a rear wheel with the 9 sp Campy in and go?

The spacing is different, so while it may work, it won't work well. Fortunately, a 10 speed cassette will fit on the 9 speed hub, since they are actually the same. So, if you need to change wheels, you will just need to swap cassettes.
