Tandem Cycling - Books and magazines

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Can anyone give me an idea of where to pickup good books and magazines on tandems. We are getting our first tandem and want as much info as possible. :D

Howdy from Tucson!
Recumbent and Tandem Rider Magazine is a good source and best of all it's FREE; check some of your local bike shops.
Browsing the Internet, of course, works; as you have already found out!
Good luck!

I also liked web site too (actually we ended up buying our tandem from here - great service and very helpful - worth driving the 3 hours).....

While you are probably going to do this anyway, make sure you go to a bike store that has several brands & styles of tandems. Certain features that I thought we would want turned out to be a hinderance and certain models had a better fit/feel than others. First hand test riding is an absolute must IMHO.
Good luck! We love ours!
