Road Cycling - FYI, Bianchi finally updated their web site for 2004

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Finally, all the details are available. I really don't like the paint job of the 2004 Vigorelli. (And this is the one I want to get!)

Yeah, looks great!!!

Do anybody, though, can tell the difference between the
Reynolds 631 steel on the EROS (a much lighter EROS now, btw) vs the Reynolds 631 of the Vigorelli for example???
Why the difference in price if is the same steel frame???
I'm puzzled

Better wheels and components, more expensive drivetrain. I personally like the Campy stuff better, but Ultegra is much pricier than Mirage, which is Campy's entry level group.

I'm digging the Virata, that thing is sexy.

Anyone know the difference between Dedacciai EOM and Reynolds 631 ?

My only question is...where is the Luna? I saw a picture of that in Velo News and that is without a doubt Bianchi's best looking bike. White carbon!

It's in the Reparto Corse section. I notice they have the Volpe in the Cyclocross section now. Wow three different 'cross models, it must be catching on.

The Virata, although a beautiful bike, it's pretty much for racing. Not as durable and strong as other steel for this reason:
Dedacciai: it's a very light, thin, high quality type of steel made by well reputed manufacturer Dedacciai. Needless to say more suitable for racers.
Reynolds 631: also a high quality type of steel by Reynolds, thicker, not as light as Dedacciai but strong enough to not compromise durability and daily riding over normal pavement conditions.
