Where can I find info on mountain bike market share by company? Something like:

Specialized - 40%
Trek - 30%
(Klein) - 5% out of that 30%
(GaryFisher) - 10% out of that 30%
Giant - 10%
.
.
.
etc, etc

Good luck. What area as well, mountain bike market share varies radically by area. I never saw Norco's in Washington but I see them constantly in Canada. Iron Horses are just gaining popularity overall but they've been fairly popular on the east cost for years. Cannondales have traditionally sold better on the east coast as well.

There are a thousand little variances like that based on area.

For what purpose?

There's no specific reason, just curiosity. I found the market share for cars by brand, motorcycles and boats but not bikes. I will check those site that you mention.
