I'm really surprised about this, I was wondering if anyone else had seen this - I'm assuming yes as so many of us follow this yearly and so entertaining competition.

They announced on the news tonite that the Tour de France 2008 had been cancelled due to 3 major sponsors pulling out - they did not name them - and that the TDF organization doesn't see how they can pull it together for this year's event.

Anyone else catch this???
