I'll... be sure to stand over here, to the right of Davis, and cheer on the mania--err, participants. :p

Registration limits have not been reached for the past couple of years, so don't worry about being "shut-out" because you didn't register as soon as we opened up registration.

You're welcome. ;)

If I can do my 200 K on Sunday with no significant knee pain I'll sign up - I think. I am sort of depressed that I have no doubles planned right now. Davis isn't my favorite, but it's nice, well supported and close. I had such great hopes at the start of this year.

I'll be talking to my doc tomorrow about my knee. It's been six months and while it's better than it was in October, it is not all better.

I'm doing the Monticello Century on the day after the Davis Double, so I'm out. I want to complete a few singles before I do a double. Maybe next year I'll do Davis. 2009 STP for sure!

Of course you can draft off me. :D But the knee is flaky. Just walking the stairs at work will bother it sometimes.

After very little Eggo'ing... I'M IN!!!

I've been looking forward to meeting Pete and my inauguration is going to be a 200 mile ride...

I don't have Photoshop at work to add the two zeroes.

P.S. Pzipp--> If you remember, it was I who was sucking your wheel most of the way up Cardiac during the Brevet last month. I owe you a draft or two. ;)

I may be a late, last minute decision for this ride. The fact that I haven't even gotten a century in (I was hoping to get that on the BF Spring ride), and now that I'm off the bike for a certain amount of time, it makes it difficult to commit to this. Maybe I'll show up at least for the pre-ride dinner the night before?

I did Monticello last year (it's a sweet ride). On one of the tougher climbers there was this hippie looking guy with a Sierra Nevada (beer) jersey. He was on a flat bar road bike. Turns out he did the double the day before!!

I'm still undecided on taking on my first double.

Did you get the bike patched up? How much longer are you staying off the bike?

I haven't been in a hurry to get it all back together, since I'm on-call this weekend anyways. Plus, I've always got my Cannondale to ride too. At this point, the injuries are more on my wrist, than on my hips or legs. I've been on a wrist brace all week, and I figure I'll see how it feel by next weekend. I think I'll put it on the trainer this weekend, just to get my legs moving.
