Hi Everyone-
I am getting a new bike w/ DA10 and fulcrum 5 evo wheels, and I would like to keep my Spinergy Xaero Lites that are currently on my other bike -- Shimano 105 9 speed. Can I swap cassettes and use the old wheels? Will the 9 speed cassette work with the Fulcrum wheels? Thanks for your help!

The 10-speed cassette should work on the 9-speed wheels. You will have to use the thin spacer behind the cassette that comes with all 10-speed Shimano cassettes.

The 9-speed cassette should work with the Fulcrum wheels unless the freehub body has the deeper splines Shimano uses on it's 10-speed Dura Ace hubs.

Thanks for your help, the fulcrum wheels aren't stock for the bike so hopefully they are the generic shimano hub. I don't have the new bike in front of me yet (anxiously waiting) but I'd like to know before I commit to sell my old bike. Thanks!
