Is it possible to change from a Threaded headset and fork to a Threadless headset and fork?

why yes, yes you can and it would take less time than trying to find a threaded fork and head set. think about getting a chris king head set. they may be expensive ($130) but are worth every penny

why are the Chris King head sets so good? I have a cheapy Ritchey Scuzzy Logic headset- I can turn the bike without problems and the forks haven't dropped off. What do you get for the extra 100 dollars or so? just wondering why I should spend all that money?

I too am wondering why CK headsets are so good. I was all set to get a Race Face headset for almost half the price. Will I notice the diference? I will do a mix of riding but mostly trail.

I have often asked that question. I never could find a use for such an expensive part. PErsonally I like FSA dh PIG. Strong, reliable and about a 1/6 of the cost.
