I'm in the process of building my Kona hei hei into a single speed bike. Since I'm going to drop a wad of cash on Ti straight blade fork I need to find out if the frame was built for 60mm of travel or 80mm so I can purchase the correct length fork.
Does anyone have an old kona catalogue with the dimension for those years?
Here's what I know about the bike it migh help.
1. natural Ti finish
2. 18" frame apprx with oversized rear stays
3. 1'1/8 head set
4. The bike was originally sold as frame set not as complet bike from kona
5. It came with orange decals that saif "kona" on the donw tubes, a circualr kona logo on the head tube.
6. 1995/1996 vintage
Thanks
