Mannnnn, just when I pick up something where I want to be outside every day and start this awesome journey of riding my bike. I get sick.
I have been fighting this all week. Coughing like crazy. I did manage 2 rides this week. and rode my stationary 4 times this week. I put some decent milage on that but it is just getting me down I am not getting over this as fast as I used to.
I am taking my antibiotics and everything. Hopefully tomorow I will feel better and be able get out in the morning and doing some exploration.
Just wanted to rant.

Antibiotics? You have some kind of bacteria infection? Strep?
I've been lucky so far for the last 20 years. I hate medications and extremely rarely take it and when I have the flu or whatever it takes maybe 3-4 days for me to ride it out. My sinuses are my worst enemies tho, hurts like a motha when they start acting up. 3-4 hours of sleep on the couch do help to get things back on track.

yeah, a month ago my doctor just gave me some antibotics. I only took about 3 of them. and I was better. Then I had to stop all medication when I had my shoulder surgery. Now, since this little cough and stuffed up chest has began I just decided to continue on with the meds.

So, your doctor prescribed you a course of antibiotics for something you had a month ago. I'm not sure why he/she would do that knowing that the course would be interrupted because of your surgery (your doctor did know about the surgery, right?), because interrupting a course of antibiotics is not good. Neither is self-medicating, which is what you're doing now. You don't know that what you're fighting now is the same as what you had a month ago, or if so, if it's reasonable to expect resuming the course of antibiotics to help. Consult Your Doctor, not the internet.

You know you are supposed to take the antibiotics until the bottle or pills are empty, right? Otherwise the bacteria is starting to become resistant against it.
Just taking antibiotics whenever you think you need them will only make it worse, not better at all.
Lot's of people make the same mistakes and then they are wondering why all the bacteria become a resistant strand.
Please, for the sake of your own health, don't make the same mistakes as others and only take antibiotics if you actually have a bacteria infection and stay with the antibiotics until they are finished! Otherwise you only hurt yourself and others in the process.
I'm not criticizing, just trying to educate in such an important matter.

Heal up and then ride. Your body needs to rest to recover. Stick to the stationary till you get better and don't overexert yourself.

Yeah, this is the reason why we have a lot of super bugs that are resistant to all forms of antibiotic therapy.

I did consult her and she was the one who stated to continue taking what she gave me 2 weeks before I had the surgery.
Don't worry I don't consult the internet in the matters of my health. I don't know if I came off that way but it was not intended. She knew what I had was the same thing my wife was down with also. That is why she wanted me to continue taking the meds.
When I first got them, I got better within days. Yes. I should have continued to take them but I stopped taking them when I was told to discontinue any medication because 2 weeks later I was having surgery. I did not intentionally discontinue taking them.
I am quite aware of these matters. What I was ranting about was the fact that this pollen has kept me from getting me back on my bike.

Oh also she did not realize I would be having surgery so soon. I first consulted her about my shoulder, 2 days later I was getting xrays. 4 days later I was getting an MRI, 6 days after the MRI I was having shoulder surgery. This small window was were I had to discontinue my meds from the antibotics. I am also aware that not taking them can make the bacteria or viruses much more resistant. I always go on the opinions of my doctor.
