Hey everyone, I just signed up for my 1st bike vacation. It's in Sept. Any other Clydes or Athenas signing up? http://www.illinoisgreatriversride.com/index.htm

I saw the title of your thread, thought you might be talking about the Sam Vadalebene Great River road trail in Illinois. If so, check out http://www.traillink.com/ViewTrail.aspx?AcctID=6015798. I ride this every summer (4th of July week) on vacation. Those are my pics from last summer (but for some reason they didn't include my review?!). Great ride, hardly anyone on it. It's about 43+ miles round trip if you do the whole enchilada. The hilly part between Grafton and Pere Marquette park is a doozy!

Thanks Joe, that looks like a great ride, I'd like to try it someday.
The ride I'm refering to here is http://www.illinoisgreatriversride.com/index.htm
It's a week long ride, with food, entertainment, fellowship and site seeing all rolled up into one.
I can't wait.
