I got a used frame and I noticed that there is a bit of stripping about 2/3rds of the way in on the BB threads. I am using an external BB and even hand tightened it seems I can get through this area. However, I do not know if I am going to fully mess up the thread and I cannot remove the BB in the future. It is my first time trying out external BB and I do not know how long before you service them as I could probably just get this one in and forget about it and just get a better frame next time and not bother removing this BB cup.
