I have Matrix 750 wheels on my hybrid bike. The tires are 700 x35c. Can I go to a smaller tire for better efficiency? Thanks

I run 700 X 25's on my hybrid that came with 30 somethings with no problems.

Did you notice much difference? What is a good tire to use? I have Bontragers on now. Thanks

Bontrager 700C x 28s would probably work well for what you want to do and make the bike at least feel faster and more responsive. Roger

Also get smoother tires with less tread
