I don't want to start world war three...but how many people who have done diy ebikes have actually used this? Has anyone used them long enough - time, distance and stress - to see them fail? Has anyone hooked up 2 or 3 together to power a bike? How about using the small skateboard motors - like this http://www.e-ride.ca/Electric_VehicleParts/index.htm#MT? The reason for my question is that it seems it would be easier to add motors to bikes if the motors were small, even if you had to add 2 or 3, and could fit in smaller spaces within areas designed in the bike.
