Utility Cycling - Went to Walmart

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Actually, I've been to Walmart lots of times. But I actually went and got a few groceries by bicycle for the first time ever. Back at Christmas, I got a disassembled Arpan Low Gravity bicycle (like this: http://www.arpan.com/english/product.asp?id=9 ). I've had it together for a while now, but finally got the spokes tightened up and tried a useful trip on it. So that's a couple of tablespoons of gasoline that are unburnt. :)

Very nice... I have been looking at Indian made bicycles quite a bit as they are still among those countries where the single speed rod brake roadster is a common model.

I'll try to have a more complete report on my experience with that bike a little later on.
