Can anyone tell me if a shimano 7 speed freewheel will fit on a suntour hub?

With freewheels there is no specific hub. They all, 5,6,7,8 thread on the the wheel hub.
If you are talking about a cassette, I don't know, but my guess is yes.

Freewheels, yes (if axle length and over-locknut spacing is correct); cassette, no.

Only issue with a freehwheel hub is the older ones with French threads.
