Could Someone tell me what i need to go off-roading in the snow, ice, ect.
Clothes?
Footwear?
New Tires?
ECT?
HELP ME!!!!
Check out www.icebike.com for FAQs and stuff about winter cycling...
A good pair of waterproof shoes and overboot is good, studded tires, a good sense of humor, a change of clothes in the car, etc...
I could go on and on....

If you're going in deep (6+) inches of snow, I would recommend a different set of tools. :)

General purpose hiking gear works OK. You dont have to go out and buy the lastest hi-tech garments, use what you have to start with. Dont over-dress, but do take spare layers. There are some people who think cycling=shorts and jersey, but you have to dress for your conditions.
A lot of winter riders ditch their clipless pedals for toe clips or power clips, so they can use winter boots. Winter clipless boots are pricy.
Even std tyres should work OK, You wont find black-ice on a trail, so studs are less usefull than on the road.
