Check out the winner of 3/4 race. He's a BF dude. Congrats CDR! :)
I didn't know there were that many women riders on the planet... really cool to see!

Yeah... I was mountain biking yesterday and I see a cute girl on the trail from afar, but from closer it turns out she's a professor at my college. Oops.

Nice job cdr, that's gotta make you a contender for the top spot in the series, right?

I have wide shoulders :)
Polish kit is a local team, I think the family sponsors their son, something like that. They're probably Polish, hence the colors. He's been racing in those colors for about three years now, and I think this is his second year as a non-Junior.

I'm really proud of the women's race. We had 27 women for the race. We used to have them race with the Masters but I decided to try a separate Women's race and the response was very nice. Usually women's races end up harder than a men's race because there's no shelter, and the Cat 1 women just kill the others.
The leader has won all the races so far, she's a Masters many-time national champion, and is just insanely strong. I'm impressed that all the other women are able to hang on.

By the way, several of the women raced the M40+ with the men, which was right after their race. They all held tight and finished. Bravo.

I love how the only time cdr shows up in any of those pictures is at the end, when he's sprinting for the win.
Clearly cdr knows how to hide out and bide his time in a crit.

Apparently it does, but it'll have to be a spectacular last day. I'm 2nd, tied on points, with the leader 8 points ahead.

I do hide a lot, I can't be in the wind with my monster 234 watt 20 minute power. But I did do a boneheaded bridge attempt - the one where I'm on the hoods and the one where I'm looking to my right while on the drops - those were taken 5 laps into the race. I think the photographer grouped the shots for me.
Also, in the P123 race pics, there's a pic of someone trying to give me madison like push (or pull - I was already behind him). I was dropping out, just got tired of it all. He ended up getting second in the race.

Haha, I have 38's on my trek. They look teeny next to my cannondale's bars. They worked out pretty well during the crit though. I found it a lot easier to squeeze through narrow openings.

That is just stupid (and I mean that as a compliment). That kind of thing makes me think that all of this crap about increasing one's FTP doesn't mean squat. If you can sprint and race smart you can win.

Sweet, I'll be there!
Hopefully I'll get some front time on the next race too. I'm planning on doing better, but who knows!
I think there are going to be a few more of us from wesleyan at that race. It should be fun!

Nice going.
Now that you have demonstrated your dominance, it's time to strap on the helmet cam and level the playing field a bit.
