I think those are fine bikes. Decent quality, support and price. Expect in the $200+/- range for their offerings.

Kids bikes at the 12", 16", 20" and somewhat the 24" size are fairly limited in range of quality. There is some difference but not alot between Xmart and the name brands. If you can find a used decent shape name brand, you will save a good chunk of money.

K2 and (I assume you mean) Novara (REI brand, named after Sue Novara (http://www.procyclingwomen.com/Sue-Novara-Reber.html) I believe).
