Sat is the only day I have open due to some planned drunkeness on sat night and heavy hangover on sunday.

A friend and I will be doing Pete's route from last year. the one that starts at Mike's Bikes then dam, then 7 sisters(or something). We will attempt to finish and go all the way to the top of Mnt Tam.

Anyone who wish to join us are welcome. I will be starting from SF Zoo, meeting my friend at Arguello and McAllister.

That is an awesome (and tough) ride. Here is my motionbased data for the last time I did that ride: http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/activity/3700138.

I started from BART and ended in the Haight, but it will give you the idea from the GGB. We also didn't climb Mt. Tam.

This is a gorgeous and challenging ride. If you include Mt. Tam, it's probably around 7000 or 8000 ft of climbing.

Thanks for the map. Too bad my 305 is on its way back to Garmin for repair. I just want to get this one out of the way so I can kep my eye on the real prize, Hamilton.

An alternate and harder ride is to go up to Nicasio, around the resv. to Pt. Reyes or Olema, down Shoreline HWY to the Bolinas-Fairfax Rd tn off up to the Alpine dam / Ridgecrest junc and then back to Fairfax and home or Ridgecrest back to Mill Valley and home. My favorite ride when in shape, LOL. Much climbing.

That's funny- mine has been giving me problems (and now won't turn on at all), so I am sending it back as well. I hear that Garmin customer service is good, so hopefully we will both have our Garmins up and running soon!

One time after charging my 305 all night, in the morning I couldn't turn it on. I did a quick research and seems like they can get lockep up.

I did the following and problem was solved:

"To power the unit back on, press the "Mode" and "Reset" buttons at the same time. Let go of those two buttons, press the power button, and the unit will turn back on."

Hope this helps

And I'm eager to try that ride again, but Saturday is not a good day for me. Weather is going to be awesome!

Angel.
