There are no restrictions on the topic of discussion, as long as you do it civily. Civility is more than just not swearing at people. It also has to do with being polite, not putting people down, not shouting out other viewpoints. Well ... I would like to think that the moderators are part of the community too and that they would consider what its denizens think as important. And as Chipseal wrote, Chainguard is not the place to discuss the merits of VC.

But there is a point at which we all get caught in the death spiral of A&S and should move on ... or at least add something new. Just speculating here, but I think that some of the momentum is simply due to the uncertainty associated with HH's banning; although, as is standard in A&S, you will never make everyone happy. My assessment is that the moderators made their decisions based on a wide assortment of reasoning independent of HH's views ... something that can be supported or contradicted by future actions. However, I can see how someone could come to a different conclusion.

Anyway, I recall that Donna and other moderators wrote that if people are interested in more specific details, one could PM them. If anyone really feels that there is a conspiracy going on, then trying talking to the moderators then make a personal choice or start an Alice's Restaurant movement. Maybe we can get another song ...
